Natasa Michailidou graduated in 2003 from the Department of History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a specialization in Archaeology. She continued her studies at a postgraduate level at City University in London obtaining the title MA in Museum and Gallery Management (2005). Since 2013 she is a licensed tour guide. She has curated several art exhibitions and has worked in museums and educational institutions as education officer in relation to programs mainly for children on archeology, art and culture in general.

She has designed and carries out, in collaboration with the Foundation of Thracian art and Culture, the “Young archaeologists of Thrace”, a group of educational programs and tours. She is founding member and assistant of the shadow theater group “The tales of Karagiozis”, of the Poetry and Folktale Academy and of the storytelling group “ParamythoThrakes”. She is collaborating since 2006 with the Department of Culture and Creative Industries in the “Athena” Research Center in the context of research and development projects aiming to create technology applications in the field of culture. Her research interests include the documentation of cultural heritage, cultural tourism and the use of storytelling and ICT for the communication of cultural heritage with a wider audience.
