A significant three-year research project, the "PLan-V: Speech Therapy Platform with Virtual Assistant," came to its conclusion and the results were presented on Sunday May 28th, during the conference titled: "Telemedicine and New Technological Applications in Speech Therapy" at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.
Dr. Spyridoula Stamouli, representing the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) of the Athena Research Center, conducted a speech titled "Language Technologies for Supporting Individuals with Communication Disorders," summarizing the significant contribution of ILSP (automatic language deficit assessment, pathological speech analysis and a talking virtual assistant avatar delivering language and speech therapy exercises) to a project with remarkable social impact.
