Panayotis Silintziris is a Collaborating Researcher in the Industrial Systems Institute of ATHENA Research and Innovation Center, Greece. He has the Dipl. Eng. Degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics, the MSc in Computer Science and Engineering, from the Department of Computer Engineering an Informatics of the University of Patras, Greece.

His main research activity is related to Virtual & Augmented Reality interfaces for the Web and Human-Computer Interaction Systems in General. He has multi years experience in development of software applications, both web-based and standalone including database and service-oriented applications. He is a highly experienced programmer and software architect and he has worked as freelancer in several projects for the private sector since 2006.
